Its been a while since I have posted anything here, so here is a short update. In December I think I am going home to see my family. In January, I am going to be starting college again. :D I have my orientation this month so it is official! ^_^
I have been doing very well lately. I have been writing a lot and been pretty busy hanging out with friends and that sort of thing. Our movie nights are going excellent, and our game nights are definitely a highlight of every week. :)
I also want to say thank you to my friends, both IRL and online that have stuck with me for the past few years. I moved to Atlanta in hopes of meeting new people and putting my past behind me. I won't go into any detail, but it is a chapter in my life I would like to forget. I have been putting all my energies into positive things. I am also seven months alcohol free, so there will never again be a drunken stupid jackal doing idiotic things. I was serious when I gave up the booze for good.
The last thing I would like to touch on is truly the best part of my life. Cobalt, you really mean everything to me. We have been together for a year and a half now, and I look forward to many more with you! If there was ever one thing in my life that gave me motivation to be a better person, it was you. I think a lot of people use the word too casual, but I can say it and really mean it.I love you.

It has been a long time since I have posted anything here. I am alive and well :P I went to see the movie Paranormal Activity with meh lion Saturday night. Holy crap it was a great scary movie! If you like stuff that is spooky, creepy and horror in general then you should definitely GO SEE THIS MOVIE! PARANORMAL ACTIVITY = WIN! :3
We went to Netherworld Haunted House off Jimmy Carter Sunday night. It was fun, spooky and worth the twenty dollars it cost to get in. So much frightening stuffs this weekend! I love October. :3

Well it's set! This jackal will be at AC this year! :D It has been a while since I have been able to really attend a con due to finances and stuffs. Well, it has been a while so if you were wondering I'm doing just fine.

Went to the Ren Fest over the weekend. I had a wonderful time with meh lion. :D For those of you that haven't gone, it is definitely worth it. There was ale, animals, pirates, jesters, ninjas and even some people wearing ears and tails! There was lots to do as far as little games they set up and such. They even had a fake joust going. :) Needless to say, it was good clean fun. :) I will be back next year!

Now, I reached out and figured since you haven't spoken to me since then, it would be a good time to start making amends. I thought maybe there was a small chance we could be friends again. You spit my offer back in my face and accused me of a lot of ridiculous things.

The Human soul is a strange thing. Humans are capable of both great and terrible things.

We killed six million people in concentration camps because they were Jewish. We ignored a genocide in Rwanda because it wasn't a 'white' problem. We have formed many hate groups and kill each other for as many different reasons from the color of our skin, to what religion we follow, to who we have sex with, to even just the damn place we live. We create reasons to be paranoid about our neighbors, and the mass media we watch every day does nothing but to reinforce our fears of each other. We created words like hate and faggot. We have polluted our planet to the brink of disaster. We let mass amounts of people die of starvation everyday. People are wicked cruel and evil. Humans are demons by nature, and are more akin to the devil than angels.

We bound together and put a footprint on the moon to represent the endless ambition that is within our spirits. We hold blood drives to make sure we are able to save lives in times of need. We give to charity and donate food and clothes to those less fortunate. We take care as we plant a single tree that will out live all the generations of our family. We make laws to protect individuals rights as free-thinking beings. We band together to push whales back into the sea. We open our doors and churches to complete strangers after their homes were destroyed by a storm that can only be described as an act of God. We created words like forgiveness and love. We are doing everything we can to slow the damage to our planet and fix what our naive young cultures did. We are gravely ashamed of the Holocaust and Rwanda. Humans are forgiving caring beings as divine as Angels. We shun and fear the Devil and are made in God's image.

Is this what it is to be human? Can humans really be all this? The sad answer is yes. I know the kinds of things people are capable of, both good and bad. I don't believe it is ever too late for anyone though. There is no reason not to allow yourself forgiveness. I don't know who all will read this today, but I hope it will at least make you think.

There will be no FWA for me this year. I have work on Friday from 6-2, Then I have to work a split double shift Saturday, and I have a training class I have to go to which will be 12 hours Sunday from 7:30AM to PM. Fuck this sucks. :(

An update finally! Yes, I am still alive and healthy. :P As of the 16th of this month, I officially got an apartment! Moved out of Dingo's place, for a lot of reasons. The move went really smooth, and we got everything set up fast enough to be pleasing. :)
Work has been blah of course, and I don't think I am getting enough sleep. With the move, and trying to get a lot of school stuff sorted out I have been busy as hell.
I really haven't had the time to spend with what maters to me most (my friends and loved ones) but this move is something I have been needing/wanting to do for a while and it's finally done. I am happy with the new place and can't wait to have everything sorted out, so I can get back to my life again. I have missed seeing lots of you and really wish there was more hours in the days sometimes, but I'm also overjoyed to finally be done with this!

I am trying to improve myself this year. I have already stopped drinking almost all sodas cold turkey (sucks!). My goal is to stop eating/drinking a lot of the unhealthy things I have been for so long. I am also going to cut back on my alcohol intake to almost zero. I will drink at cons or at major social parties and such, but that will be about it. I am trying to improve my life vastly, and I figured I should start with food and drink.

2009 is finally here, leaving behind last year. 2008 started off rough for me, emotional troubles and relationship issues, but don't forget the job problems too. Through the middle of the year, I found work. I fell in love with the most wonderful person I'm blessed to even have the pleasure of knowing. I re-applied to college and have an orientation setup now. I'm mostly over my money problems now. I had a great time with all my friends throughout the year.
I also became spiritually reawakened. I would like to just say thanks to all the wonderful furry friends I have to make my life feel special everyday. :D You guys are great, and no amount of drama would change the love I have for you guys and gals.
Came into 2008 celebrating a party, went into 2009 with a better one. I hope the seeds I planted this last year mature to reap the benefits. I believe 09 will be a fabulous year. That's all from this dog for now. Peace hommies!

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. I am in good spirits this year, because I am happy for myself and content with what I have done in 2008. This last year was one of revival for me. I am writing a lot more often. I finally found someone who treats me the way a boyfriend is suppose to be. I am fortunate to have learned a lot even from the unkind things people have done to me.
I am going into 2009 with fresh ideals in mind. I only wish everyone could learn to care for one another. This can be a harsh world we live in, if everyone did their part, no one would be left out and feel alone.

My BF has gone to see his parents, and so have most everyone else I know. I will be here, working Christmas and all the days around it. Here is to a happy holiday.

I have deactivated my Facebook account today. Those who know me well enough to read things about my life can find that information here. I disliked everything about Facebook, including the interface and how you interacted with others using their system. Live journal is so much better! Anyway, that's it from the jackal for now.

Just a quick question for anyone out there that reads this. What scares you? What do you dread the most? I am looking for honest answers, and nothing stupid. I will delete anything that is not realistic or serious. I am writing a series of short horror stories and am hoping to spawn some ideas from your answers.
